Premier Sands May 2020 Newsletter
We are proud to announce Premier Sand’s first-ever newsletter! You are receiving this newsletter because: A.) You’re a superintendent, B.) you’re in Golf Course Construction, or C.) You just LOVE sand like we do! After all these years it still amazes me how much sand is used in golf course construction and we hope to be a valuable resource in the areas that require sand. Whether it’s bunkers, greens, fairways, tees or topdressing, we are here to share insight from others in our industry and be an asset to your maintenance or construction planning.
So be on the lookout for our newsletter in late spring, middle of summer, and early fall. We’d love to have your feedback in our comment section and on our social platforms.
Sincerely,
Will Hayden, COO
Launch of New Product: Premier Select
The Hayden Group is very excited to introduce Premier Select 30 topdressing sand! This specially screened kiln dried sand meets USGA specifications and has been field-tested to ensure it works into the canopy of your golf greens and other fine turf areas with little to no mower pickup.
Premier Select 30 is 100% crushed and angular quartz with 46% aerobic pore space, a kSAT above 60 inches per hour, a CU above 2.7, and 0% acid reactivity! All these attributes combine to create a topdressing that is excellent for light, weekly applications or for heavier cultural applications after aeration, Drill and Fill, or Dryject. We are confident you will see firmer, smoother conditions and improve internal drainage when you incorporate Premier Select 30 topdressing into your cultural practice program.
Premier Select is kiln dried and is currently offered in both 50# bags and 2500# supersacks in full truckload quantities. Call us to learn more about Premier Select 30 topdressing sand and our other 100% quartz Premier Sand products!
